If I order a Thinkpad T61, is Ethernet or an Ethernet card integrated into the system?

My college also requires us to bring a 10 ft. (or longer) Cat5 RJ45 Ethernet patch cable. Is that included with my purchase of the T61 or do I have to buy that separately?

    Thanks so much!

gigabit ethernet is standard on the thinkpad. it will include a phone line cable, not a cat5 cable

if you're willing to swing by NYC, I can make you a cable of your desired length (upto 50 ft) for 3 bucks DO NOT goto best buy to purchase this cable as they will rip you off. goto a small mom and pop shop, you should be able to get a 25 foot cord for around 5 bucks(generic).

    ^^

Right, but making just one isn't very economical, and when someone's simply looking for an ethernet cable, and you suggest making one, you might just scare them off.
