I just placed an order for a T420s. The customizing page said it was expected to ship on 8/9 but the order status page says 8/17.

    How accurate are these estimates?

I'm leaving the area permanently on the 19th. Is there a way, worst case, to change my shipping address (before it's sent out obviously)?

I have a similar question, for people that have bought their laptops from Lenovo UK.

I placed an order at Tuesday night - now its Thursday noon and the status (on findmyorder.com) is still in 'Order in Process'. I have not received any estimated dates whatsoever, only order and payment confirmation mails.

Of course the uk system is handled by Digital River, not lenovo itself, so there must be differences.

Has anyone else ordered from lenovo uk? How does this process work?

When I customised and ordered a T420s from the uk site, it said "estimated 1-2 weeks", and eventually it took me 6 days to receive an email notifying that the order has been shipped, and 7 days to actually receive the machine.

I have customised and ordered an X220 this time. Not sure how long it would take.
