I was just wondering if anyone knows the estimated lifespan of an LED backlit screen? I would assume that LED's have a much longer lifespan than standard CCFL, but I can't find any concrete numbers. I'd hate for the backlight to burn out before the useful lifespan of my notebook expires.

LED about 100,000 to 200,000 hours, while CCFL is around 20,000 hours on average depending on the brightness setting you use.

So basically your laptop electrical should give out before your LCD backlight does, which is something many people should be happy about. Many of my T4x is already needing a LCD change, due to the backlight problem.
