I am about to install Windows 7 on my X301, and I'd like to skip out on some of the Thinkvantage stuff I dont really need. Right now I have XP Pro and it has 80+ processes running when it starts.

So can anyone share what they have installed with Windows 7 on their thinkpads? giving an order of installation would be nice too.

    TIA

I usually do the OS, then the service packs, which isn't really relevant to W7, and finally any drivers/apps in no particular order. For the ThinkVangate Tools I use Power Manager, Drive Protection and UltraNav myself. I was thinking about picking up an UltraBay drive, in which case I'd do EasyEject too.
