Does anyone has a contact with Lenovo UK to escalate a case? I scheduled an appointment for today to get my Thinkpad repaired (I've got next business business day warranty) and the engineer just did not shop up and did not contact me at all. I had to call the hotline twice, just to be told that they can't do anything about it. That's so unbelievable unprofessional that I am speechless...

That's pretty shocking if they're not willing to help you at all even with NBD warranty service. I give them one last call to see if a different rep can change things, I also would make a note to the Lenovo Forums about your poor experience to see if they can assist you on the matter. The fact you paid a premium to get this non-existant service is indeed unprofessional.
