Sometimes when I boot up my x61s I get this stuck key error. If I'm not mistaken, key 39 is the L key. When this happens and I subsequently boot windows, the start menu pops up and flickers like like one of the keys is being held down. Well, the L key doesn't appear to be stuck at all, nor the windows key, and neither do any of the other keys. The laptop is brand new (only a couple days old), used only by me, has not left my desk, and has not been exposed to anything that could possibly cause this problem. I did a Google search and found posts my other Lenovo laptop users complaining that they also have a stuck key 39 error. However, I haven't found any solutions.
I don't really expect that anyone here will be able to help but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. Taking apart the laptop is out of the question (I don't even think it's a hardware issue anyway), and I'm not sending it back because I already had to do that once and it was a painful experience. So does anybody know what's going on with this, and how to possibly fix it without taking the laptop apart?
