This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Error updating my System Update

    ThinkVantage indicates it will update my System Update but then I get an error message:

    A problem occurred when upgrading System Update to the latest version. You can download and install the latest version of System Update from the Lenovo Support Web site at http://www.lenovo.com/support."

    Is anyone familiar with this error message?

    well just then "download and install the latest version of System Update from the Lenovo"!

    system update doesn't run unless it knows you have the latest version
