I tried taking out the RAM and the HD and putting it back in but it doesnt work. I dont know what to do to fix this. Please, anyhelp is greatly appreciated as this is truely an emergency

If it was on, you can count on the HDD being damaged. Get your data off of it. The HDD might already be nearly dead, which is why the OS won't load.

In any event, something was seriously damaged. You'll have to get it fixed by Levono.

Thanks Greg. I called Lenovo and set everything up with them. Talk about great customer support! ANyways they said it will take about 5-7 business days to fix so I will be waiting patiently. Thanks again

did you try using safe mode to try and do a scandisk? try that or use hiren's boot disc to scan for errors.

even if you are having lenovo fix it, get your data off. the repair center might delete your stuff

    good luck

He/She/It better have the accidental. If not, it's a pretty STUPID move to send it in for repairs beings its more than likely the hard drive which can be had for about $100 on ebay. By sending it in without accidental they will more than likely 1) invalidate their warranty 2) pay an arm and a leg to have the HDD replaced and 3) pay a hefty sum to get it back under warranty.

Would have been much better to diagnose and see if the HDD was the culprit and take it on the chin (my guess).
