    Email Update Received on T61/T60 Orders and Freebies!!!

    There is a 12 hour time difference between China and the U.S.

    Plus, that UPS plane is probably making lots of in between landings to pick up additional cargo and refueling.

    Even a passenger flight from New York to Shanghai takes over 18 hours with a stopover in Tokyo.

    I never "officially" received the Freebie email via my personal email address, however I just copied the main summary of the email (that someone posted on here) into a new email and replied to the Lenovo critical email address with my order number and the item I wanted.

    I did that about 2 days ago, and I just received the response to that email today saying they got the email and will be shipping my free battery once my 5/23 order ships.

    Dont wait to get the Freebie email... just copy / paste it and do it yourself!

    I ordered on 5/29 and my shipping date was changed to 7/18/07 after listing 8/31 for so long, and they're not budging on the July date yet. I was just placed on the "critical" list, so we'll have to see if that affects the estimated shipping date or not.

    my order just updated and left KY today.
    says I'll get it tomorrow.
    unfortunately, you have to sign for it, and UPS express guarantees delivery before 10:30 (i think)

    The freebie email thing worked for me, they replied acknowledging my selection (the battery). The order is still scheduled for 8/17 though. 2 more months!!!! It's a travesty!! LOL
