Is it possible to have it NOT show the scrollbar cursor when a scrolling action is made on the touchpad?

I just think it's ugly looking and distracting.

    This on a T420 running Win7.

Two-finger scroll does that if you like well.. two-finger scrolling.

Well, yeah, that's the problem. How do I disable it changing the cursor?

You'd have to replace cursor group 258 in SynTPEnh.exe with the standard cursor using Resource Hacker or something.

I wandered through the registry for the Synaptics stuff and didn't see anything immediately obvious for controlling it. I thought about hacking the resources for it too. But then you're faced with doing it again and again if anything gets updated. Not to mention driver signing issues.

The EXE isn't a driver. You might end up automating the process with a batchfile though.

Sorry I wasn't clear. The program called "two finger scroll", which you can find on Google, fixes your issue. But of course, that's only if you want to use two-finger scrolling.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but then there are other driver issues (missing features) using that program.

I haven't had any problems with it so far. In fact, the scrolling is extremely smooth, almost as nice as on Macbooks. It shouldn't cause any driver conflicts because it doesn't install or modify any drivers. Then again, all I use on the trackpad is scrolling and point/click, none of that rotate/chiral stuff. Might want to test it out and see if you like it first.

The program doesn't scroll horizontally, but otherwise works flawlessly even if the UltraNav drivers don't explicitly state multitouch support (i.e. T400).
