    Hi people,

I received my new T43, model 2668-74G, last week and I'm really happy with it.

Except one thing, there is a strange electrical noise coming from under the Access IBM button. The sound stops for a while when I turn the Bluetooth on.

Does anyone experience the same problem?

I will call Lenovo about it when it persists.

    Thanks,

    Bobby

It might be some weird interference with the radios, but you would think it would only start when you turn it on. That's a weird one...

My t43 have the same problem.
I have sent a email to the lenovo service department.
They claim this sound is not a malfunction.

The noise is probably caused by the inverter card of the LCD.
It is not a malfunction, i hope you'll get used to that...

When this topic is brought up for various electronic bits, one thing that some suggest is putting a dab of silicone glue onto the offending part to absorb the vibrations that cause the high pitched noise. I wonder if some computers don't have this issue because some places do this more than others?
