my corners have worn off. most everyones do eventually. I use a sleeve case. But sliding it in and out has worn through the rubber. That's what she ....

Can't do much to fix it except buy a new lid perhaps. Prob not worth the cost. Think of them as character building battle scars.

    Really? That got edited?

the only thing you can really do is not use it, simple and makes no sense i know. But there's nothing you can do about that. If it bothers you that much buy a bunch of LCD lids and then change them every month when one wears out.

I used to pay way too much attention to those small details. Don't get me wrong, i hate seeing it too but my girlfriend got me to focus on other things. Trust me, i still see them on mine and any little scratch on my T410s i'll check it out to see if it's permanent but i just don't baby it as much as before. Why get this tough Thinkpad if i'm gonna treat it like it's made of glass? :D

BRB, gotta go clean my laptop, there's a spec of dust on the LCD that's been driving me nuts. Got a new compressed air can too and then i'm gonna wipe it down with anti-static cloths :)
