    I am currently in the market for a new laptop. The two laptop that I am look at is the Edge 14 and u460. While the u460 is slightly thinner but the Edge 14 has a the red trackpad. In addition to the trackpad it is also around 60 cheaper. Which one should I get.

    I'm slightly confused by your post in general. Make sure you read your post and correct typos and other errors before you press the submit button. Let me get this straight:

    1.- You're debating between the Edge 14 and the IdeaPad U460.
    2.- The Edge 14 has the TrackPoint, which you like.
    3.- The Edge 14 (or is it the U460?) is $60 cheaper.

    Which one you should get is entirely dependent on your usage. Both have their pros and cons. Have you played with both in person?

    The edge is $60 cheaper.
    I haven't play with either of them in person. I can't because they don't sell them in retail store.

    Is battery run time important? A 9-cell battery is available for the Edge 14.

    I'm using it as a desktop actually, I only need to move it once in a couple weeks or so.
