    Easy to remove ITM from T400?

    I've been reading conflicting reports on the effectiveness of Intel turbo memory. And there hasn't been any testings on the new 2.0 version. So if I do get this, would it be easy to take it out (or disable it in the bios) if it's causing problems?

    I talked with a sales rep. He said the ITM is built into the motherboard. Looks like it's not very easy to physically remove it.

    It's not built into the motherboard. It's installed in one of the Mini-PCIe slots and is easily removed once you remove the palm rest and the keyboard. Here's a link to the service manual:
