    HellllloooO~

Just wondering, for this procedure, when entering fatwallet.com and pasting the IBM EPP URL, do I paste this URL into the original fatwallet.com page (that displays all the "offers for lenovo") OR the new lenovo page that pops up after clicking on the lenovo link from the fatwallet "offers for lenovo" page?

Also when I click on the right side-bar about the 3.5% "cash back", it brings me to the lenovo site in a new window as well. Am I supposed to integrate this to get the discount?

    THANK YOU.

Go to the Cash Back page, click on the Lenovo link that will bring you to the Lenovo discount page.
When the Lenovo page loads type "EPP" in the search window, then choose the appropriate search result (second from top) that will redirect you to the EPP ordering page.
Place the order with the previously registered under Tailormade AmEx card.

They renewed it. It appears AMEX has their "promotions" just like Lenovo has their "sales."

    Same discount, same page.

    https://www142.americanexpress.com/tailormade/cmenrollStep1.do?s=23

    Save Up To 10% off
    Expires: July 31, 2007

    *5% off purchases between $1,100 and $1,299.99
    *7% off purchases between $1,300 and $1,599.99

More likely than not, AmEx will extend the discount into August and so on.

Correct? I haven't signed up for TailorMade page yet, just grabbing these numbers from Fatwallet.

I am curious..what's the total value of the discount after all three are accounted for? People seem to be going through a lot of trouble to save the buckaroos!

Does TailorMade work for all purchases automatically (ie if I call Lenovo and order through a rep)? I want to spec a custom EDUC tp and still stack as many discounts as they allow.

Does tailormade price mean after tax?

My configuration is $1050ish but $1110 after tax. Will I get the 5% back?

I've been reading around, and no one really confirmed it, but many ordered around $1100+ after tax. So I'm guessing that's how it will be. I appreciate your input on your experience. :)

    Another question.

How long does it take to show up on your Tailormade account? I just ordered, but it says I saved $0 still. It doesn't show my order.

Wow, yours was shipped extremely fast.

But what I meant was, did you see the amount in your Tailormade account? I log into Tailormade, and it still says "I have saved $0".

And how long did it take to get Fatwallet confirmation?

    Thanks!

Do many people make amex accts for these savings? I don't use credit cards so is there any risk/terms I should know about for these tailormade amex accts? Thanks in advance.

All right, I had ordered a T61 on Monday 7/9 and then I found out about the EPP and Tailormade deal. I figured "what the heck, it's only been a couple days since I ordered so I don't mind going back to the end of the queue to save another $100." My previous estimated ship date was 8/9.

Guess what - my new estimated ship date is now 9/3! *Gulp* I did get the 160G Hard drive upgrade (and dropped the Intel ABGN wireless card) but otherwise the order stayed the same as before:
    T61 with 7300, GMA X3100, 1G, 160G, 1440x900 w/cam, BT, DVDRW

It goes to show that you can keep chasing that perfect deal indefinitely, but at some point you need to say "enough." :( Now I'll settle down for my looooong wait.... but it is amazing that you can get a Thinkpad for close to the same price as a Dell 1420! They aren't shipping fast either.

It looks like CPP and EPP link to "shoplenovo.i2.com." Is it confirmed that Tailormade/Fatwallet will work if you click through to Lenovo.com and then click to the i2.com url from the search results?

Fatwallet will work if you go through this link to lenovo and then type EPP or whatever in the search box.
Select the appropriate link in the search results and then continue to order as usual.

    http://www.fatwallet.com/cash-back/Lenovo

Tailormade will work regardless of how you place the order, as long as you order online and charge to the enrolled under Tailormade AmEx card.

All the links I can see after the search require an IBM employee ID. Am I missing something? (I registered my AMex at Tailormade, then accessed Lenovo via Fatwallet).

EPP is an employee purchase program. You need to find an IBM employee willing to share his serial number that will allow you to log in (perfectly legal).

Amex cards issued through banks aren't eligible. So my Citibank won't work. That's kinda whack if you ask me, but whatever.

You might want to try registering it anyways. People said Costco card wouldn't work, but I was able to register it. Maybe because it was a business Amex/Costco card?

Do you happen to know if they can take the credit back if you change your order? The website says I was paid, but I want to pricematch tomorrow since it's almost $100 cheaper. That means my system total price will be less than $1100, but I'm not sure since they already charged the card.

    EPP #: 834792
    Name: Johnson

Now watch how many people actually try this code.

Iskeys, just give up, no one is going to give you their employee ID number to some random person on the internet. If you worked for IBM/Lenovo, would you give out your employee number to a stranger? Just use the SPP + coupon, Tailormade, and Fatwallet.
