Going down under soon and want to power my T60p. iGO makes a product (weighs 2 lbs) as does Kensington (weights 6 oz).

    Two issues
    1. The EMpower ports on airplanes are limited to 75W. Rumor has it you can just remove your batteries and be fine (as 90W is needed for charging and running).
    2. Can't find the N29 Tip for the Kensington product.

Any advice? I'd hate to get up in the air and realize I can't power my laptop.

The laptop rarely ever draws 90watts. My laptop when charging a 40-50% charge battery and playing a game draws just over 60 watts. I'm sure the T60p draws in the relm of 80 watts at MAX load and charging an empty battery and the bay battery.

If your battery is fully charged it'll draw around 20-30 watts doing some basic word, winamp, DVD stuff.

The numbers I'm giving is the draw at the laptop. I'm sure at the plug it's pulling an additional 30% more. Either way you should be fine.
