I just ordered one of these the other day. I've read around this forum a lot and see a lot of people talking about holding back on buying one because they only have the option for integrated graphics right now. I did find this review however: Lenovo's ThinkPad E420s: A personal take | Mainstream | ZDNet UK

He says he got his with discrete AMD graphics. So my question is, did Lenovo offer these for a very short period of time with this option? As it sits now they only offer this series with integrated graphics.

They've released them with discrete graphics almost everywhere--just not in the US. Europe and Asia have them with AMD 6630M chips.

I'm holding tight til they ship with a GPU...

I don't plan to do alot of gaming. expect may be online flash games.

Is there any other reason I should hold off for discrete graphics? or should I be okay with intel graphics?

If you do not do an real gaming, the Intel hd3000 will be fine for you, just don't be mad if you want to game later and find it to be lacking, if you are not playing games, a dedicated gpu will just suck down more power and add more cost.
