    So finally got my e420s.

At the present time I feel like throwing it up against the wall. The mouse is driving me nuts and it runs slower than my 4 year old Inspiron.

    Mouse Issues
    Single scroll works intermittently
right click works when it wants
overall extremely sluggish even on max
I am fine with basic mouse functions - double tap for opening and scrolling.

    Performance Issues
    Slow to install programs
Extremely slow opening basic programs such as FF and Outlook

Battery never shows 100% charge, finger printer scanner sluggish or doesn't work. More issues to come.

I was aware of mouse issues, but the speed on this machine is just terrible.

This is a business machine. Running nothing special.

    Office
    Quickbooks
    Quicken
    Chrome
    FF
    IE
    Miranda
    Picassa
    Paint.net
    Fox IT
    All updates installed.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
    SGM

Those would be my options. Running some updates now. We'll see if they make a difference.
