I was able to see an E220 up close and personal today and liked what I saw. Nice clean look, very thin and appealing. The glossy display looks better than the screens specs would suggest. Viewing angles sligthly better than the x120e. Much more pleasing form factor than the x120e. Ultraportable, but more usable. With that awesome Keyboard, as well.

I suppose there are a lot of people who would not consider a typical thinkpad who might prefer this. I would think that Lenovo would go for discrete graphics to set it apart from the x220 like the E420 will be with the 6630 graphics. Go figure.

The flat rubber top looked very scratched up on this model. Caveat Emptor!

As for me I am still leaning toward a x220, but seeing this impressed me.

Sounds promising, well, except for the scratched up top.

I just ordered mine yesterday and should get it early next week. It was a bit cheaper, considering tax, for me to just order a topseller model from an out of state vendor than to configure on lenovo.com, even considering coupon codes and discount sites. Plus, no wait!

I chose this model because I really liked the U260 but didn't want to pay that kind of money for 1st gen i-core. This is a better spec'd machine for a bit cheaper with virtually the same form factor.

I'm just hoping battery life is decent. No point in have a ultra-portable that doesn't last more than a couple hours on a charge.

I'm hoping someone on here can do a review of it. ;)
