Hello, I am thinking about ordering the y410 and I see it has free shipping. It automatically adds the tax in from my province but I was wondering if their was any Duty/Brokerage fee from the shipping company? I really cannot afford to be paying another $100+ when just to get it when it arrives.

Theres a 2$ enviro fee, the shipping is free, and there is always tax. That's what i recall paying from ordering mine a few months ago. I live in Charlottetown.

Y410p (i assume you are referring to Y410p, since the Y410 is from 2006 ) is also not a Thinkpad, so you might wanna have this thread moved to "Ideapad and Essential" section of the forum.

    Right.

If you live in Canada, they will add PST + GST, just like when you buy at any physical store.

The grand total that you agree when you click PAY and that will appear on your credit-card statement is the whole of your expense. The delivery person will NOT charge you anything extra at your door.

Lenovo Canada is a Canadian company and behaves exactly like any Canadian merchant. When ordering from Lenovo Canada, you're NOT importing anything from China.
