Is there a dummy tray filler for T420 to replace the barely used CD-ROM? Where to buy? And is it good to do that? The only reason I wanted to replace it is because when moving my laptop, it's really often to unintentionally push the eject button, which may turn on CD-ROM power and pop out the tray - it's so annoying.

45M2657. I say get a SSD for the main bay, then the modular caddy to add another drive, but that's me.

Id say they are mighty expensive for a piece of plastic only.
Ebay has them cheaper, or look elsewhere, but no way 21$.
