One of the laptops we're using in our workplace is a T43, connected to a docking station so that we can connect 2 Dell LCD Monitors to it. One monitor is connected through the VGA port and the other monitor is connected via DVI. The problem is the T43 only wants to display on the laptop and to the screen connected by VGA. Is there a way to get around this problem so that the 2 screens will be displaying the information instead of 1 screen and the laptop (also note: closing the laptop simply shuts off the laptop screen and displays image only on the 1 screen, it doesn't extend to the second screen.)

I'm wondering if a VGA adapter for the DVI port would work, or if anyone might have any thoughts, or if I'm just SOL.

Laptop is using Intel's 910/915 series chipset.

Thanks for the link. The ATIs that are sometimes installed just support this, no need for external hardware.
