Hi, I currently have a z60m with Intel integrated graphics. I use the Advanced Mini Dock. Lenovo's site states that integrated graphics models support all docking functions except DVI-D. I would like to use dual Samsung 220WM monitors while the laptop is docked, lid closed. Is this possible with the current hardware I have? Perhaps by using the VGA port on the dock, and also the VGA port on the side of the notebook, or a splitter? I have tried, and can only get the VGA on the dock to output, and the Intel display manager only sees the one external monitor. While I would like to figure out some way to achieve this setup, I will be getting a T500. I would like to know what combination of graphics card options and docks will allow me to connect the two samsung displays digitally and at their native resolution of 1680X1050 while the laptop is docked, lid closed?

    Thanks in advance

I know my own R60, which also has an Intel card, is limited to one external monitor. Since your machine has an older Intel GPU my guess is it would be the same. I believe the x4500 Intel GPU on the T500 is capable of driving two external LCDs up to 1920x1200. See this.
