Hey I have a T61p running vista 32 big edition with 15.4inch screen. For all of you with the same laptop, I am curious as to which driver version of the graphics card is the standard for it? I currently am running 7.15.11.5685. Was wondering if this is the newest one, or if I should install v7.15.11.0145 instead? I am sort of confused as to which version I should have, and which is better. v7.15.11.0145 is found on the lenovo driver page, but the version I have was automatically downloaded when I clicked on the update driver icon in the windows driver section. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

    sunchaser,

IMO....if your PC is working smoothly and to your satisfaction....don't worry about updating the GPU driver.

On the other hand.....if you are into special needs like intensive 3D gaming, then you will discover 3-4 valid web sources with 200 different drivers to choose from.

One example is laptopvideo2go.com. So, if you like to play Crysis you might install 169.04 etc etc.

But, if you are not into gaming....forget about upgrading. If it is not broken or you do not anticipate special needs...don't fix it.

    Alacrity :)
