    Hi

I posted earlier but didn't have much luck with the replies.

    I have a T61p 6460 DVU

I did a clean install from a Windows XP cd and I regret it. I have a number of issues which are really annoting me and I'm even thinking of formating again.

    The problems I have are.

    1) Brightness Controls. Every function button works apart from the brightness ones. I press the Function button and the brightness up and down and I get the logo on the screen with the bars to show the brightness level, but nothing happens. I have installed the driver from the lenovo site but still no such look. Does the Thinkpad Power manager stop this to save battery or is it something else.

    2) I can't get the touchpad to install or work. I have downloaded the drivers off the lenovo website and even tried one off synaptic. But that nor the bottom two left and right mouse buttons work.
I'm having to use the nippleor plug in a mouse . Any ideas?

The other problems are bluetooth. I can't get that to work and I have two Atmel TPM ones fine and the other has a caution sign.

Please help. I don't think a re-install will work unless I try vista?
