    Don't know how to use Fingerprint

    I owned a IBM T43 for more than half yr
    each time i turned on the computer, i still have to type in the password before the window start. What is the main function of the fingerpint? :confused:

    you have to enable the fingerprint reader and let it learn your fingerprint - if you have not done that, it will not work.

    eh you don't know? the main function of fingerprint is for your laptop info to be kept confidential so that no other people can just get in your laptop and try guess the password and then mess your computer up.
