Does your t61 make a tapping sound?

hey everyone i have a question that i would really need help in understanding. i have just recieved my thinkpad t61 last monday but i am just realizing that my thinkpad's hand rest started to make a tapping sound when you just press on it. i think this weird because this laptop is just too solid to make this noise. maybe it is just my laptop so please let me know you guyz have the same problem.

the problem is on the handrest: bottom left corner. just press it and you will hear the clicking sound.

seems like many are experiencing dissatisfaction with their t61. any other complaints? You haveing any problems w/ turbo memory and vista?

ther is nothing wrong with this beautiful laptop. i love this sexy thing. lol but i just have that laptop
