    no not necessarily. You need to check your card and see if the money is being held...if it is, then you are good to go. If everything goes right, they will take the hold off a few days later and continue with your order.

    I am in the same situation. My shipping address is different from my billing address and I had to call the CC department at Lenovo to tell them to verify that my shipping address was added to my credit card. After notifying them of this, my credit card still doest show that it has been charged.

    What exactly is meant by "money being held"? I noticed that the limit on my credit card is significantly lower, i think by the amount of my lenovo purchase. I am sure they could still cancel the order at any time.

    lol Sirius, I got the T61 15.4' 160gig HD,Nvidia 128mb gpu,7500 Intel Processor, 2 gig RAM, UWB. etc... Pretty nice. Like it.

    From what I understand, your CC wont actually get charged until the laptop is ready to be shipped...

    So initially, Lenovo just authorizes the CC charge to ensure the money is actually there.

    Is lenovo shipping on time or earlier than the estimated ship dates? Over the summer i know people were complaining of the long delays.
