Today I ordered a T61 14". Let me know what you think of this configuration and pricing. I have access to IBM employee discount.

    Thanks!

    why does it list:
    41W2063 VBB 2GB PC2-5300 667MHZ 2DIMM
    and then again:
    42V9341 SBB 1GB PC2-5300 DDR2 SODIMM

I would recomend getting 2GB for sure. I think you got it. I dont think Vista Ultimate is worth it. Are you sure Business or Home Premium is not enough for you?

Did you get to choose WWAN as an option?

Business or Home Premium is probably enough but both have features I "think" I want. Home Premium as the Media Center features set and Business has a mix of features that should be useful to manage the machine more effectively. In the end, the price difference between Ultimate and HP was only $64.00. Having said all this, I won't hesitate to go back to XP if this gives me much trouble. I would have ordered this with XP if that had been a choice.

Not sure what is up with the 2 specs for memory but I did select 2 gigs.

I didn't see it as a choice but I wouldn't have gotten it anyway.

Oops! I see one mistake I made. I meant to get 14.1WXGA+, not WXGA.
