Does Think T60 support Sata 2 and DDR2. How much better is Sata 2 than Sata. and what would be the price difference

I don't believe there are any SATA II notebook drives at the moment. It comes with DDR2 memory.
-
DDR2 is last year's technology, all notebooks run DDR2. Lenovo.com have all the information you need.

DDR2 is not last years technology and all notebooks do not support DDR2.
This forum is a place to ask questions, which is why he came here.
dark_light, as ZaZ said, there are no SATA II notebook HDD's and Intel's new Core Duo (and Solo) processors all use DDR2. -
No, T60 does not support SATA2 (nor does any other notebooks, at the moment, for that matter)
Yes, T60 does support DDR2 and only supports DDR2. -

Well, most laptops have been on DDR2 (final revision intel pentium M units) for a bit over a year with ddr533. Dual core is just starting to use the faster 667 stuff. So yes, DDR2 is last years stuff in laptops. AMD was just late to the game.
Only Lenovo laptops that use DDR1 are the 3-4 year old T41/2/3's on clearance.
Heck, even the C100 and other cheap Lenovo units are DDR2 -
AMD was only late to the game because it needed to create new chips in order to use DDR2. The memory controller for AMD processors is built right into the processor and requires a complete processor upgrade (and motherboard switch) in order to use DDR2. AMD also proved that it didn't really need DDR2 just yet. The AM2 processors out now are only 1-2% faster than their s939 counterparts, which use regular DDR memory.

667 tends to only be used in high performance systems. I know of several systems (take a look at Latitude D820) that support 667 but ship with 533 as a cost and power saving measure.
I realized nobody is really replying regarding the difference between SATA I and SATA II, mostly because of SATA II not being available in our forum's favorite form factor, but for curiosity: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SATA
