    Does the w530 Ivy Bridge and Chipset run DDR3L at 1.35v

    I've heard this chipset and cpu can use 1.35v. I have 1.35v/1.5 4x8gb ram in my w530 that I'm pretty sure runs it at 1.5v. Wondering if I need a certain bios for that.

    If you have a mix of DDR3L and DDR3, I believe the system will run at the higher voltage. But if all your memory is DDR3L, it should run at the lower voltage. Sandra or HWinfo should tell you the actual voltage being used

    Just don't bother. Usually 1.35/1.5 eats less power than older 1.5V even at same voltage. Samsung are the most low-power RAM.
