I went to grab the tether cord from the box of my new X220 tablet, and, well there isn't one.

    Am I missing something?

I'm pretty shocked Lenovo didn't include this 1 cent item...

Thanks. Am I the only one who is perplexed that Lenovo didn't include this with a <$1000 machine??

They even have the part (41U4820) available for purchase, which is even more puzzling. Why...don't they just include it with the machine to begin with? Even if only 10% of users actually use it, at least it's an option from the start.

Not something you need to order, pay for, and wait on. Just seems ridiculous to me.

Typically, the X220t is actually a >$1000 machine.

That said, the included items depend on the demand and interest in them, which appropriately direct the priorities.

I can see why you would think it was ridiculous. I wonder if there is little demand for the tether.
