The Notebook Review mention that it's using DDR2 memory, but the Lenovo website says it's using DDR3. I'm confused here. I want to upgrade my laptop to 4GB of RAM. Which one is my X200 using?

Can someone tell me if I can just stick 2x2GB into my X200?

DDR3 for all x200 models. The same goes for T400, T500, and x301.

2x2GB of any brand should work. I would try and match the CAS Latency and frequency if possible (default is 1066MHz and CAS 7).

    Exactly. All Tx00, Xx00, Rx00 and Wx00 series machines use DDR3. Only the SL-series used DDR2.

When I ordered my system, I picked 2 GB of RAM. Short of opening up the system to check, does anyone know if I got 1x2GB SODIMM or 2x1GB SODIMMs?

DDR3 for X200s as well. The stock 2GB in my system came in a single Medion SODIMM with CAS 7.
