    Hey all,

So i was planning on buying the L440 for working on a 4k display, however the official specs on tabook state that it can only do 3840x2160 @ 30hz, is this true?

This would be the first notebook ive seen with a i5-4200M + HD4600 not able to do 4k@60hz.

Also, does the Thinkpad Pro Dock allow 3840x2160 @ 60hz over dp?

    Thanks!

Sometimes they only test what's available at the time like with memory when they write the specifications. Based on past experience, I'd say it's likely true, but this may be of interest.

Hey yeah i know the Haswell ULV CPUs like the 4200 U can only display 3840x2160 @ 30 hz instead of 60, however the 37W+ TDP Haswells like the 4200 M should be able to do 3840x2160 @ 60hz.

The T440p for example can do it and uses the same processors as the L440, thats why im confused by the official specs.
