This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Does anyone know? Is it a Super Multi-Drive with DVD+/-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, CD-/+R/RW?

    It only supports DVD-R/RW (and of course CDR/RW). It doesn't support +R standart. Also, I could be mistaken, but it either double or quarduple speed. You will not get the latest 8x drive there. And, this DVD-RW upgrade will cost you $399. Better get an external USB2 8xDVD+/-RW drive for around $300-$350.
