    I am thinking about using the Seagate Momentus hybrid hard drive, which is 2.5''

    T420s: 2.5", 7mm. Check the height. If the drive comes with a removable plastic spacer to accomodate both 9.5mm and 7mm bay heights, you're fine.

    Thanks but just found that the Seagate Momentus XT has a height of 9.5.... too bad...

    btw, will the msata ssd for t420s be the thinner than regular msata drive like Intel 310?
