Got this x61 tablet off of eBay. Now I see that not all of them have the Multitouch option and wonder if mine has it. The tablet works OK with the pen but does not respond to a finger at all. Looked in the Vista's Tablet Control Panel options and all but there is nothing related to fingers, touch or multitouch. Installed the latest drivers as well but no change there. The screen resolution is 1024x768 (which would make it a XGA I assume). The exact model is 7764cto. So is there any way to figure out if this thing has the Multitouch by some software or hardware feature?

    Appreciate your help...

Sounds like no. It would respond to your finger if it did.

Go check in device manager if there is "Touch Panel Driver" or HID == WACF008 or GUNZE in Human Interface devices.

That's the digitizer for X61T. Actually, if you see the screen has another layer on top, that's the digitizer. If you touch and feel solid screen -- no feeling of another layer, it probably has no digitizer.
