This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Does lenovo have 17" laptops?

    15.4" is the largest screen available only because Thinkpads are sold as business notebooks. A 17" notebook would be to big to lug around if your a business professional which is what the Thinkpad line is marketed to.

    Maybe in the future it may become a reality, if as others have suggested that Lenovo will try to make the Thinkpad more mainstream. I hope not. :mad:

    they're already well underway to making it more mainstream, with the widescreens, 15.4" form factor, webcams etc

    I woudn't be surprised to see a 17" notebook from them at this point. I've actually been told a 17" model should be on the way soon.
