    Hi,

Does the size of an LCD screen say 14'' vs 15'' affect battery life at all.
Does the amount of pixels affect the battery life at all.

Does the processor speed affect battery life? Say a t5500 vs a t7200, i would assume since one is clocked higher, it will be using more energy.

    Thankss

LCD size will affect battery life the most of the things you mentioned. The amount of pixels should have no noticeable impact on battery life (although the 15" flexview does use more juice than the standard 15", and is also a much better panel). Processor speed won't significantly affect battery life either these processors will scale down their power when not under heavy use in order to save power.

Size matters-at least in this case. The amount of screen which is lit up takes a pretty big toll on your battery. The inverter and backlight have to work harder in order to keep a larger screen illuminated. The processor will not give you a noticeable difference-even if you kept them both at their maximum multiplier.

The more important thing in my mind to consider is portability. If you don't need the IPS screen, go for a 14.1.

I heard it put quite well somewhere that the 15" model is for those who don't know better.
