If you're looking for a 9-cell, the FRU is 42T4620.

How many of those old batteries actually in good shape? When I bought an X61t 8 cell like 2.5 years ago, it still had like 97% capacity.

my dad used to be an ibm employee and he has a number of laptops. 80% of the sanyos went to garbage in a few years or after 150 cycles. panasonics some were going on 300+ cycles and most had 5% wear or abouts, LGC wasn't great but marginally better than sanyo. Thanks ajkula66, anyone one know the cru or fru for the 6 cell? Thanks

For my T43p I have two 9-cell Panasonics from 2006/7, 300+ and 500+ cycles, both hold about 80% and are in "green"...

FRU for the 6-cell that you're looking for is 92P1139
