From what I can find online, it seems that the Yoga 730 thermal throttles around the 70 degree mark. Is there any way around this? That temperature is far from being too hot, and performance really suffers because of the throttling

Have you tried undervolting it and repasting to get temps under control? Sadly I'm not sure about circumventing the temp limits.

With the XPS you can just uninstall the dell thermal drivers to get around temp limits. I don't know if that would work on the yoga though?

Check my E485 thread. Same thing is happening to AMD Ryzen chips across the board. It's all politics and cutting corners on cooling solutions. Good news is, some things can get unlocked. So there's hope. -

Did you try throttle stop? "Disable and lock turbo power limits" fix the issue for me
