    Hello:

I am curious if anyone could comment on if Windows Vista Ultimate run nice and perky on a T61.

    Specifically, with the following options:
    CPU: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz 800MHz 4MBL2)
Graphics: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M (128MB)
    Memory: 2 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)
HDD: 100GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm

I mainly use MS office apps, general internet stuff, listen to mp3's, watch DVD's, photoshop, and I use statistical programs (SAS if you know what that is). Often multiple of these tasks at once btw.

    Thanks!

It should run fine even with all the Lenovo bloatware, although I would highly recommend the Vista clean install method that you can find in this forum. :)

    Thank you.

I'm having problems finding this clean install guide in the forum. Anyone have a link?

    Thanks!

It should work fine...however, the more RAM you have the better! If you have the 32-bit version then Vista will only use like 3 Gb of it.
