    You shouldn't post the same question multiple times in different threads. Anyway I answered your question in the other thread ( Lenovo ThinkPad T500 User Review), but here it is again:

    At least in Finland (and to the best of my knowledge, in most of Europe) ThinkPads come with 3 years warranty as standard. In the US you probably have to buy extended warranty for that. So it really depends where you are planning to buy it.

    I'm living in UK, so it must be 3 year warranty compared to others that give 1 year warranty.

    I'll be buy the T500 then.
