    No mention of the T410s in the article but it does says...

    It is next gen in the same way that Calpella is next gen. Intel announced Calpella at the same time that the new Lenovo's became available and the T410s came available the same day Optimus was released.

    Bra, it's not like a driver update. BTW, all motherboards with discrete GPU actually also ship with IIG. Simply disabled. If you want to verify then contact your manufacturer about the next gen tech.
