Does Anyone Have Advise on Where to Find Batteries?

Hey looking for batteries for my 14.1 T61.

I think I'm looking to get a modular, but am also considering a 9 cell. (I currently have a 6 cell).

Advise?

Anyone know a good site to buy from? Lenovo isn't offering any on their site (seems like a poor business strategy to me.)

I don't think you can get a 9-cell for the widescreen 14.1" T61. At least that's what I was told.

I got my 7-cell from newegg. The price was the same as the Ebay vendors but no risk of counterfeits on newegg.

 

Should have said. It's 14.1 not wide screen.

I'm confused as to the interchangeability between laptops. Many batteries are advertised to fit in t60 and t61. Do they? Are batteries for widescreen and normal screen also interchangeable? Are ultrabay batteries also interchangable?

Double check the part numbers... but I think they are right. 6 cell = 40Y6799, 9 cell = 40Y6797 per Lenovo's web site.
