    Hi,

Looking to purchase a docking station for my Thinkpad L520. I would like to be able to connect an external monitor, speakers, 1 or 2 usbs, and power would be perfect but not necessary, so I only have to unplug one thing when i'm taking it to work, while my "base/dock" has all these connected already.

I would consider Lenovo/Thinkpad and other branded ones if they will work as well.

    Thanks for your help.

If you go to Lenovo's site, then shop for accessories, you can put which machine you have and it'll tell you what docks are compatible.

are any other branded docks compatible? like belkin, etc?

the Thinkpad dock looks good, but it is really expensive too $180.
