Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone is tried using a docking station with a laptop cooler? I'm only inquiring since I do play games at times on my laptop (I use an external L220x monitor) and the I would like to keep the temperatures down a bit.
Anyways, I was thinking of purchasing the ZALMAN Notebook Cooler Model ZM-NC2000 laptop cooler ( http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834998686) since it would fit the dimensions of a T500+Docking station. Although, before making a purchase - has anyone done this before?
Any comments would be greatful,
- J

You mean like sticking it under the docking station? The problem is there isn't a lot of airflow with docking stations.

Ya essentially, but anything to cool down the laptop would be good enough for me. Any ideas?

Bump... anyone here have any ideas on how to keep your laptop cool while utilizing a docking station?

do u really think it would be useful? TPs have side vents, i doubt the active cooling will help much. i never got a reply for this question from the forum.
u waste the aluminum passive cooling by not letting it touch the laptop. so buy a 10-20$ one and test it with dock -
Alright, I might as well give it a try.
