    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone is tried using a docking station with a laptop cooler? I'm only inquiring since I do play games at times on my laptop (I use an external L220x monitor) and the I would like to keep the temperatures down a bit.

Anyways, I was thinking of purchasing the ZALMAN Notebook Cooler Model ZM-NC2000 laptop cooler ( http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834998686) since it would fit the dimensions of a T500+Docking station. Although, before making a purchase - has anyone done this before?

    Any comments would be greatful,

    - J

You mean like sticking it under the docking station? The problem is there isn't a lot of airflow with docking stations.

Ya essentially, but anything to cool down the laptop would be good enough for me. Any ideas?

do u really think it would be useful? TPs have side vents, i doubt the active cooling will help much. i never got a reply for this question from the forum.

u waste the aluminum passive cooling by not letting it touch the laptop. so buy a 10-20$ one and test it with dock
