I like when some things jiggle, but mouse buttons are not one of them.

Although it's a minor complaint, the mouse buttons on my Trackpoint feel a bit loose and have a bit of jiggle. If you lightly touch them, there is perhaps half a millimeter of free play, which makes them feel a bit cheap. My older Thinkpads did not have this issue. Not sure if it's just mine.

    Anyone else?

which model are we talking about here? It shouldn't jiggle, the jiggle is either due to the cap on the trackpoint becoming slightly loose due the cap losing its elasticity or the trackpoint mechanism itself coming loose.

If you have warranty, you can call Lenovo and they would send out a new keyboard for you to replace.

P.S. Sorry my bad for not reading the post clearly. The mouse button for the trackpoint should not wiggle either.

@lead_org: I think he's talking about the TrackPoint's mouse buttons, not the TrackPoint itself.

If I put sideways pressure on the buttons, they do shift very very slightly, but then again, if they were completely tight, they wouldn't move very well. The buttons' fit seems very good to me.

I did a bit of background reading and it sounds like the mouse buttons and the keyboard are a single unit. I got the crappy keyboard (my comp was a refurb from before they fixed the flexiness), and it sounds like that keyboard also has the wiggly cheap feeling mouse buttons. I ordered the NMB keyboard and hopefully that should solve both my mouse button and my keyboard issues.
At least the keyboard is easily fixable! I was worried I'd get the non-LG screen. I got the LG, and while I wish it were brighter, the viewing angles rock for a TN screen.
