    Just curious.

I realize it probably varies widely depending of the type of thinkpad, but what are you gonna do.

I do for now. Can't believe how good the T61P are for gaming.

I use it for light to moderate gaming. Since mine is only the equivalent of an 8400M GS, I only play Source games on it.

My X1900 in the desktop does whatever else I need to do just fine.

I play games frequently on my t61 (with NVS140m). Examples would be Age of Empires3, Oblivion, Civilization4, and EA sports games.

For me it's Rome Total War, Civ 4, and Sims 2, though I have not been impressed with my gaming performance. I know the x1400 is nothing special but, I expected somewhat better performance than what I am getting

I just beat Call of Duty 4 using my T61p.

Very powerful computer, handled the game nicely.

I suggest you do a clean install of windows.

I beat the entire game of Call of Duty 4 without one single crash and hiccup.

I play games on the T61p all the time. The Quadro FX570m is a very powerful graphics card. :D

Whenever I have a spare 10 minutes, it is HalfLife2 DeathMatch multiplayer online via wireless.

    Great fun! :)

You do have to find the right video driver (high fps and high stability), though. With 237 video drivers to choose from....that can be a hobby.

I have a standard T61 with X3100 graphics...I've installed the original counter strike on it......it doesn't run too bad.
