Do you think it's possible to use the W700 Mini Dock 2.0 with a T61P?

I am wondering about docks, I have a T61P and it apparently is compatible with the series 2 docks (I think). But I would only want a dock with eSATA built in (I have an eSATA hard drive and I use an eSATA Expresscard). The Mini docks that are listed as compatible with the T61p don't have eSATA, only the Series 3 docks have eSATA. So I see the W700 specific dock has eSATA, but is it only compatible with the W700?
